"The Mindful Mentors Virtual Camp has been a more exciting experience than I imagined. Although we aren't face-to-face, it still feels nice to all be together again. Despite the fact that working there for the first time is new to me because im used to just being a participant, the activities and things are fun so its like im being paid to have an awesome time which is great.

My Favorite Things About Camp:

My most favorite activities we do at the Mindful Mentors Virtual Camp are the scavenger hunts in which I am a top competitor at, and the workouts. I personally enjoy the workouts because I want to stay in shape so I'll be prepared to play sports as a Freshman in High School. With school starting off virtual, I may not get that good exercise I would've gotten if school was held face-to-face. I also enjoy the sports clinics where I better my skills at home.

My Goals As A Worker This Year:

Being apart of the staff takes much more responsibility than just being a camper. I have to make sure I am always leading by example because I know the campers are watching. But, not only that I have personal goals I would like to accomplish with being a worker. For starters, I want to be more out-spoken because I don't like to speak up as much as far as taking lead, ect. I also want to be someone the younger participants look up too for being smart and a very athletic person.

All and all, I am forever grateful for this program. I've been participating since the 4th garde and I can honestly say it has helped me to become and amazing scholar athlete. I look forward to sticking with this project throughout high school, college and so on. Thank you Mindful Mentors Community!"
